The office cum warehouse of Ookas is located in a shopping centre within Klang Valley. It’s around 3PM when we arrive, with most of the shop lots are vacant, that’s how “abandoned” strikes our mind. Perhaps this could be an interesting spot for photographers who are always on the lookout for photo outing locations. However, you might never know, in a place like this, hides a Mount Everest.
The Founder of Ookas, Koo Yiap Yew, welcomed us with a big smile and apologised in advance that our interview session might be interrupted from time to time due to delivery pick-up routines. We thought it wouldn’t be serious but yes, the courier guys did come and go during the interview, bulks and bulks of parcels were being collected.
You can tell that his business is good, and there is nothing to do with its location.
